I have been listening to the radio all day as I've heard story after story of the devastation that Hurricane Katrina wrought. It is inconceivable to me - to have everything you've ever owned and the life you once had, to vanish in one day.
I have heard from varying sources that the best way to help is to send cash. Groups such as The Red Cross and The Salvation Army are two relief organizations that are welcoming donations. You can click here for one option to give your support.
Please keep these survivors and their families in your prayers and for solid solutions to be found in rebuilding the city of New Orleans and other areas hit hard by the hurricane. They have been through a major ordeal. It is a challenging road ahead of them.
I totally agree with this blog. Someone has to give way and forgive. Otherwise nothing will happen in a relationship. It is all about sacrifices and it starts with forgiving. After all, if things don't work, then it has to end on a good note.
